What is Wed the World?

195 countries – 195 destination weddings: Wed the World is a lifelong mission to learn about love through the weddings of every culture in the world.

Love is expressed in hundreds of different ways throughout the world, but there is one thing each culture has in common in celebrating love – a wedding. In 2014, Liz and Branden set off on their journey to learn the differences/similarities of how each culture expresses love by getting married through culturally traditional wedding ceremonies across all countries of the world. But they haven’t stopped there – they have vowed for each wedding anniversary to travel to a different country and hold a traditional ceremony in each for the rest of their life.

Wed the World – the Ultimate Destination Wedding.
